Cosmos is an online that sells consciously crafted swimwear and intimates. Designed and made in South Africa.
The Brief and Solution
Cosmos is an online store that sells locally produced swimwear, underwear and slip dresses. Cosmos in Greek means people as well as signifying the link to the universe. This meaning is the foundation on which the brand is built on.
The logo created a unique brand element that could be pulled through the branded collateral to help visually expand the brand. I also created a custom icon set that they used on their website and socials to show the products.
This sense of being linked to the Cosmos and it’s cyclical nature inspired the logo, creating an organic design that visually depicts us all being linked together. We’ve paired this with a Serif font, creating a bold and contrasting icon and logo. The spirals provide that sense of statement and versatility, being a brand element that can be applied throughout their collateral.
We are the Cosmos. We live in the Cosmos. We are all a part of the Cosmos.
